Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that I took notes for the early morning discussion on how to integrate the regional and national into the global agenda.

I'm reviewing the notes with Paul and Marilyn (as they volunteered as facilitators) to make sure I've capture all contributions correctly and I will share the notes in the next few hours, but basically the idea is to:

  * Move away from reporting only: Do the reporting prior to the global IGF using a common format that is saved/keep in the IGF website for future reference
  * Do a pre-IGF polling to identify themes (commonalities, differences and diversity of interpretations)
  * Pre-IGF half-day working session to share experiences about methodologies used to structure the program, ways to rotate members of the program committee, how to conduct/manage the events, mailing lists, logistics, funding, etc.
  * Identify members of the regional/national IGF initiatives to identify issues raised in the different workshops/sessions during the week that link to regional/national contexts to bring back from the global IGF to the regional/national discussions
  * Secure and slot in the IGF agenda anyway (clear purpose to be defined but not reporting) at the beginning of the week

More details notes to follow :)

All the best,

Sylvia
