[Rigf_program] 2013 List of Workshop Proposals

Just to add my 2 cents here…

I think workshops (if we receive a small number of proposals) should be evaluated based on quality, among other requisites we all agree on. The topics proposed should help us to review the main theme proposed and how it is defined, its wording and the definitions behind the terms used.

Any time left available can be used to actually have working groups to work on the IGF main themes for this year, and IGF improvements, Enhance Cooperation and Internet Governance Principles to be able to provide input into the global discussions on that.

Last year at the IGF in Latin America, the working group sessions were a really interesting mechanism to let participants actually participate and contribute, instead of just listening to panelists.

In my opinion, it will be great if we can used half of the time for working groups and round tables, and the other half for actual workshops and panels.

Hope this contributes to the discussion.

All the best,

Sylvia
