[Rigf_program] (May 31st deadline possible?) Re: Qs on Program Framework + Call for Participation

Thank you, Izumi (as you suggested :) for the prompt response and clarification - very helpful. Regarding the draft program structure, I see, so we will first receive and review all the proposals received via "Call for Participation." I have not yet seen the Call's final version and that publicized or uploaded on the rigf.asia. If I am not mistaken in these and given that we only have 7 work days or so from today until May 24 deadline, would it be possible to postpone it until May 31st, or would that jeopardize something? I am just wondering, thinking of people who are outside this listserv network and may be interested to send proposal. Of course, if it's best to stick with May 24 deadline, I understand.

Thanks,
Miwa

But, I have a few questions below if Izumi-san or other friends could help answer. I just wanted to understand things better before I go further on preparation with my colleagues & our regional partners.

But, I understood from our earlier communication that for this year's APrIGF, we are following the 2012 global IGF themes for our program framework, so that we can link more smoothly with the global IGF in November, or? If so, would we be having those themes as plenary in our program framework, and other themes as sessions (A1, B1 etc.)? In the latest version Izumi-san sent today, if I am not mistaken, we do not have global IGF themes like, Access & Diversity, and Taking Stock and Way Forward, or?
