[Rigf_program] MSG Chair appointment at tomorrow's meeting

I don't really understand what the rush is. I would like us to take our 
time and select our chair and vice chairs without the due haste that is 
being proposed. I think it would be useful to have a period for 
nominations open through until the Bali IGF, where we can ask questions, 
and evaluate the nominees, and then cast our votes. I think as long as 
we have the new people in place before the end of the year, all will be 
good.

I think the current chair and secretariat need to do the reporting in to 
the Bali workshops. And the current secretariat has been empowered to 
proceed with the negotiations with India for next years hosting. So 
other than this task, there is nothing on the agenda for the rest of 
this year.

I therefore recommend we go through this process of selection of our new 
officers carefully and allow plenty of time for the nominations, 
discussion and selection processes.
