Call for Workshops & Themes

Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum

APrIGF 2013 Seoul Korea

4-6 Sep 2013

 

Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) has been held annually since initiated in 2010. It serves as a platform for aggregating IGF related discussions and collaborations at the regional level which ultimately advances the Internet governance development in Asia Pacific. APrIGF 2013 is the 4th meeting, which will be hosted by Korea Internet Governance Alliance (KIGA) and supported by the local secretariat Korea Internet Security Agency (KISA) and APrIGF secretariat DotAsia Organisation respectively.

The Program Committee would now like to call for your participation in developing the agenda in an open process by submitting your topic of interests and workshop proposals.

We now encourage all members of the Asia Pacific community to join the program development process with any of the below ways:

•   Submit a workshop proposal

•   Comment on the proposed themes:
Towards more Secured, Convenient, Vibrant, Equivalent, and Desirable Internet

•   Suggest sub-themes or topic of interests

Each workshop will be 90 minutes with time for Q&A and should present the proposed issue in an inclusive manner, incorporating a multi-stakeholder perspective.

Send your proposals of not more than 500 words describing the thematic area of interest and specific issues of discussion. Please also specify the expected format and target panel members in the proposal. The proposal shall include the full name and contact details of the workshop organizer to proposals at aprigf.asia. The deadline for submission is May 18 (Sat) 23:59 UTC.
