Dear MSG members,

I just received the proposal from Dr.Fujikawa, Aoyama Gakuin Univ.
(host coordinator of the university). There are two but he can only
manage his time for 19th morning or 20th afternoon. I think we can fit
the first one, which I think has higher priority
and which is based on his activities in Asian countries, to C2.
However, the second one may be only fit into the fourth room on Friday
and possibly D4.
Similar to the child protection session, We need to recruit panelists
for this session among the other speakers.

I am sorry that I cannot attend the next teleconference due to my
business trip. I hope you can discuss this issue, too. I haveno update
for the sessions that I am coordinating except that I have a request to
exchange the tme slot for the cyber securiyt session by some session on
Friday.
I would also like to report that the VISA process is finally on track
and I am sure it will meet the deadline. However, the time left for new
applications is becoming scarce considering that it may require exchange
of information between the applicant and that we expect 2 to 3 business
days for the process plus 2 to 3 days for the document delivery. It
might be better to warn it on the website.

Sincerely,
Yoshihiro Obata

session theme : Child Labor and Internet Governance

background and outline : Child Labour is so serious problem to destroy
social and economic development of countries. This is why International
Labour Organization has been very active in eliminating Child Labour.
However, in "Internet" world, it is a very pity that we could find many
contents related Child Labour, such as Child pornography and Child
prostitution. This session has the aim to consider what kind of actual
activities "Internet " could cooperate with ILO in order to cope with
Child Labour problems.
panelist : Prof, Hisaaki Fujikawa (Aoyama Gakuin University, attorney at
law), ILO officer(not confirmed)

session theme : Social Network Games and Law

background and outline : Social Network Games (SNG) have been so
developing all over the internet, mobile phone and smart phone world. On
the other hand, we could not ignore problems related to SNG, such as RMT
(Real Money Trading), Youth and Consumer Protection etc. This is why
there have been legal conflicts increasing and government intervention
developing. In this session, first of all, we confirm the present
situation of SNG, secondly introduce the legal regulations on SNG in
Japan, thirdly discuss about the protection on SNG activities and lastly
discuss about the desirable relationship between SNG practices and law.

panelist : Prof, Hisaaki Fujikawa (Aoyama Gakuin University, attorney at
law), Internet specialist, Social Network Game specialist and Concerned,
government officer (not confirmed).
