[Rigf_announce] APrIGF 2015 Elections - Voting Announcement

Dear APrIGF Community,

This is to announce that the candidates for upcoming elections of the vice chair and chair position of the Multi-Stakeholder Steering Group (MSG) of Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) has been confirmed.

Please refer to the below Election Page for the Candidates Listings and the Eligible Voting Members:

A comment platform has also been created to provide opportunities for members to raise questions to better understand the candidates. You can do so by clicking “Ask Questions” button on the above Election Page.

The Election Voting Period will begin on 23 Sep 2015 and end on 30 Sep 2015, 24:00 UTC.

Voting Rules and Procedure:
Each eligible voting member will have ONE vote for EACH position and there will not be any proxy votes.
Candidates are not allowed to vote for the respective position that they are running for.
Eligible voting members will receive individual voting credentials for the online voting platform via email from the secretariat before the voting period.
For any eligible voting members listed above but do not receive any login credentials until 23 Sep, please kindly contact the secretariat at sec at aprigf.asia as soon as possible.
The election result will be announced by the Election Committee within 48 hours after the voting period closing.
